REMOTE ACCESS

The First Wave system is equipped with a remote access feature that allows operators to log on remotely and monitor the system's operation. This feature also includes email notifications to alert operators of any system shutdowns or alarms. To enable remote access, the owner needs to provide a public static IP address and an email server.

Additionally, LWR offers the option of including a cellular modem as part of the equipment, which allows for remote access even without a fixed internet connection.

To remotely connect to the system:

  1. Set up a static IP address provided by the owner.
  2. Ensure you have an internet connection.
  3. Run a VPN client (such as VPN Viewer or TightVNC Viewer).
  4. Enter the IP address into the client software (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).
  5. Use the last four digits of the equipment serial number as the password.

Please note that secure and reliable internet connectivity is essential for successful remote access.
