10. Filtrate Tank Level Sensor and Switch Cleaning
FILTRATE TANK LEVEL SWITCH
CLEANING
To maintain the proper
functioning of the level sensors/switches in the holding tank after the
Microscreen, it is necessary to periodically clean them to remove any
accumulated solids.
LEVEL SENSOR/SWITCH CLEANING PROCEDURE
Follow the procedure below for cleaning the level
sensor/switch:
Ensure that both sections of the tank are empty before starting the cleaning
procedure.
Use a hose with a spray nozzle to wash down the level sensor tip
and switches. Note: Do
NOT use a power washer on the level sensor, as it may cause damage.
Direct the spray nozzle towards the level sensor tip and switches,
applying sufficient water pressure to remove any built-up material.
Continue washing until all the solids have been completely removed
from all the switches.
Once the cleaning is completed and the switches are free from
debris, ensure that the tank is refilled, and the system is ready for
operation.
Perform this level sensor/switch cleaning procedure
at least once a day to prevent any disruptions in their functionality.
By maintaining clean level sensors/switches, you can ensure accurate level
measurement and proper operation of the system.
